Feature Spotlight
Viewing Extended Info
Virtual Ticket’s Extended Preview capabilities provide users with important metadata information about your digital resources, including layer information, font, page, preview size, text and much more. The information can be viewed by choosing the Show Image Info option (from the Window menu) while viewing any extended preview. This information provides a document deconstruction for quickly determining content, style or images.

Q&A with Technical Support
Can my QuickBooks invoice information be exported based on the customer name instead of the customer code?
By default, invoices are exported from Job Manager using the customer code information as a unique identifier for importing the information into QuickBooks. This customer code information corresponds to the Company Name field in QuickBooks. If all customer names are unique in your QuickBooks and Job Manager databases, a modification can be made to the accounting integration functionality of Job Manager which will use the customer name information (or another desired field) as the information linking to the Company Name field information in QuickBooks.

Smart Tip of the Month
Notifications Forwarded to Email
A solution available in Knowledge Base article 16160 forwards Virtual Ticket notifications directly to an email address. Once the solution is configured all notifications will arrive in the Virtual Ticket notification box and in your email box. Emails that arrive also contain an attachment .vts file that when opened, will launch Virtual Ticket and display the record which the notification was generated from.

OS X PDF Workflow
By now, most people have discovered the ability to Print to PDF from any application in Mac OS X. However, the PDF printing workflow can be enhanced further to perform various tasks such as run an AppleScript against the PDF, attach the PDF to an email message, plus much more. Adding these options is as simple as creating a PDF Services folder in the Library folder of your Home directory and dragging the alias of the application or script into the PDF Services folder.
