Virtual Ticket 7.5

Project & Workflow Management

Solutions Editor

With Virtual Ticket you get powerful project and workflow functionality out of the box, but that's not the whole story. With built-in solution editing features, you'll not be forced to squeeze your information into someone else's idea of a job ticket or form. From modifying pre-built solutions, job tickets and forms, to replicating your existing forms right in the system and creating entirely new forms, Virtual Ticket provides you with the ability to easily develop solutions that work for you.

Virtual Ticket's solution editing environment is simple to use. Beginners will find it easy to create forms and tailor their systems, while advanced developers will enjoy an array of sophisticated tools available to create advanced solutions.

With Virtual Ticket, you'll have the assurance that the best elements of your organization and workflow are preserved.

Forms, Fields, and Scripts

Virtual Ticket includes a simple to use forms editing tool that allows you to create forms using layout tools modeled after the most powerful design programs available today. Additionally, forms can include fields, controls, buttons, and much more. For more advanced administrators, a MetaScript programming language based on JavaScript is available for including rich and powerful automation functionality right in your forms.

Find Anything, Fast

Beyond the built-in searches, users can create and save custom searches on virtually anything they have permissions to view in the system. Find windows in Virtual Ticket are powerful and can be customized to view specific fields, pre-fill search criteria or even show the associated digital files. Administrators have special access to predefine Finds and publish them to users based on permissions.

Events and Notifications

Virtual Ticket event and notification tools provide a fail-safe and efficient way to communicate changes made to job tickets and production information. Unlike voicemail or email, Virtual Ticket notifications reference the actual change and return an acknowledgment that the change has been read by the recipients.

  • Notify users of important new or changed production information.
  • Prevent critical updates in production information from being overlooked.
  • Drive workflow processes using automatic notifications generated by changing production information.

Privileges

Access to information in Virtual Ticket can be tightly controlled. Administrators set visibility and control rights for users or groups. Permissions can be controlled right down to the field level. This makes implementing a robust yet manageable security policy a snap.
