Started in 1991 as a graphic arts based business, MetaCommunications provided services to local prepress and design organizations. In 1997, MetaCommunications divested it services business and began commercializing its first software product. By 2006, MetaCommunications released it's first integrated "Workgroups" suite, consisting of four modules. Today, MetaCommunications is set to release Workgroups 2008™, the first completely cross-platform workflow and productivity suite applicable to virtually any workflow in any industry. The Workgroups 2008 suite represents the culmination of a product roadmap spanning over five years and has been validated by thousands of users worldwide.
